The best looking breast augmentation is one that is performed by a professional, and with the appropriate medical grade silicone. The surgeon who performs your surgery should be certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Your surgeon should also have more than 5 years experience in performing breast augmentation surgeries. Surgical breast augmentation is a surgical procedure to increase the size of the breasts. This procedure can be performed on women who are unhappy with their breast size or shape, or to restore volume after weight loss or pregnancy.
The cost of this surgery can vary greatly depending on the type of implant used and the amount of tissue removed during surgery. A breast implant is a soft, silicone shell filled with saline or silicone gel that is inserted into your breast tissue through an incision made beneath your breast fold (inframammary crease). The implants usually last 10 to 15 years before they need replacement, although some can last 20 years or more if certain precautions are taken.

Best looking breast augmentation
What are the best options for natural-looking breast implants?
For many women who are thinking about breast augmentation, obtaining a natural look is an important consideration. Fortunately, modern cosmetic surgery techniques and technologies have made it easier than ever to achieve incredibly natural-appearing breasts through augmentation. Board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Christopher Khorsandi and his talented medical team at VIP Plastic Surgery in Las Vegas, NV, have performed numerous breast augmentation procedures and pride themselves on offering custom-tailored options to meet each patient’s needs, including those who are in search of a more natural-looking breast augmentation.
What are the different breast augmentation options?
While it may be overwhelming at first glance, the wide variety of options is actually a wonderful advantage for patients seeking breast augmentation. Saline, silicone, cohesive gel, and fat-grafting procedures each offer unique benefits for patients, depending on their individual needs and goals. These include:
Saline: While saline implants are slightly less in demand now, they were by far the most popular option in recent years and continue to be favored by many patients due to their various benefits:
- Can be placed through a smaller incision
- Can be used in patients under 22 years of age
- Can be filled to different volumes to achieve symmetry
- Naturally absorbed by the body if ruptured
Of course, like any surgical procedure, saline implants also have some risks:
- Higher risk of rippling
- Feel less natural
- Higher risk of rupture
Silicone: Silicone implants are generally more popular than saline, with their benefits including:
- More natural feel
- Less tendency to ripple
- Lower risk of rupture
- More stable shape over time
- Ideal for women with less breast tissue
Silicone implants, though highly popular, do have some disadvantages:
- Require larger incisions
- Have other incision placement restrictions
- Cannot be reabsorbed in the event of rupture
Cohesive Gel (also known as “Gummy Bear”): Cohesive gel is one of the lesser-known types of breast implants, though they can produce some of the most satisfactory results, such as:
- Look and feel very natural
- Lower risk of rippling and folding
Fat Grafting: Fat grafting (also called fat transfer) for breast augmentation is realizing an incredible amount of growth and popularity due to its potential for overwhelmingly satisfactory results as well as its holistic approach to the procedure. Board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Christopher Khorsandi is proud to offer state-of-the-art breast augmentation procedures using fat from the patient’s own body at VIP Plastic Surgery in Las Vegas, NV.
Does fat-grafting breast augmentation work?
With many different procedures, products, and techniques on the market today, choosing the most appropriate breast augmentation option can be difficult and confusing. Dr. Christopher Khorsandi is dedicated to providing the most exceptional level of patient care and service from the initial appointment to the procedure, and throughout the recovery and maintenance periods. During your initial consultation, Dr. Khorsandi will take the time to evaluate your specific case thoroughly, answer all of your questions fully, discuss your cosmetic and functional goals, and recommend a course of action that will best meet your needs.
Fat grafting to breast has many benefits and advantages, including the fact that there is little to no risk of rejection, as the tissue being transferred is native to the patient. Fat and tissue are typically harvested from areas of the body that have a slightly higher fat store — the abdomen, thighs, or love handles — and is then purified and injected into the breasts. Skillful and experienced surgeons are able to reshape and resize the breasts with these injections. Because the augmentation material is technically comprised of a patient’s native tissue and fat, the results often appear — and feel — more natural than silicone, saline, or gel implants. However, because they use native tissue, fat-grafting breast procedure results are often not as long lasting or as dramatic as those that use implants.
Am I a good candidate for natural breast augmentation?
As with any surgical procedure, it is important that patients are relatively healthy, are non-smokers, and have no medical contraindications to surgery or anesthesia. In the case of breast augmentation, ideal candidates have reached and maintained their goal weight for at least six months and are finished with pregnancy, childbearing, and breastfeeding.
The do’s and don’ts of laser hair removal
Laser hair removal has soared in popularity over the past few years—a way to make your life and your grooming habits easier if you don’t have to shave or wax all the time. As a result of its popularity many people are now seeking out the service, but if you have never had laser hair removal from a place like
Simplicity Laser before it’s important that you understand some of the do’s and don’ts to follow both before, during, and after your treatment.
PREPARING FOR YOUR TREATMENT
The most important thing as you get ready for your laser hair removal treatment is that your skin is healthy and undamaged, and you have roots so the laser has something to target and then will stop the hair follicle from growing hair again.
DO: Wear sunblock with SPF 30 or higher if you are planning to be in the sun within a week of your treatment.
DON’T: Go to the tanning beds or get sunburned. Also avoid the use of heavily perfumed lotions or creams prior to the treatment.
DO: Shave the area that you plan to have laser hair removal treatment on the night before you’re headed to the treatment center. This helps to make sure that the laser has a target, the root, in the hair follicle.
DON’T: Wax, bleach, or pluck the hairs in the area where you are getting laser treatment. The way laser treatments at Simplicity Laser work is by targeting the root of the hair follicle, destroying the hair follicle so it won’t grow in the future. Plucking or waxing hairs removes the root, which means the laser won’t be able to target it effectively.
DURING YOUR LASER HAIR REMOVAL TREATMENT
Once you arrive for your treatment at Simplicity Laser it’s imperative that you follow all the instructions of the staff to ensure you and everyone else remains safe and the
treatment is effective.
DO: Make sure you choose a reputable laser hair removal treatment facility. Read reviews, ask about qualifications, and work with a licensed esthetician.
DO: Wear the protective eyewear they provide for you—you may think you look silly, but looking a little weird for a few minutes is much better than suffering eye damage.
DON’T: Be afraid to ask questions or speak up if something is uncomfortable during the treatment. Your technician is there to help you, so make sure you let them know how you’re feeling or ask if there is something you don’t understand.
AFTER LASER HAIR REMOVAL
Once the procedure is done you need to continue caring for the skin properly to ensure you don’t have irritated skin or other problems.
DO: Use the Restorative Gel provided by your Simplicity technician after treatment. You may also want to get more for a few days after the treatment to minimize redness or other irritation, speed healing and prepare skin for your next treatment.
DON’T: Expose the area to the sun for a week after treatment or take hot baths and showers, or sit in a sauna for one or two days after the treatment.
DO: Follow all post-treatment instructions to ensure you have the best possible results.
It’s important to understand that laser hair removal is different for everyone. But everyone should be prepared to get several treatments over a period of time. Hair grows in different cycles and at different rates, so one treatment won’t rid you of all your unwanted hair.
How to prepare for your laser hair removal session
You ditched waxing. You also gave up on depilatory creams. What you want is permanent hair removal. That is why you switched to laser hair removal.
It may seem like a huge decision. However, you will not regret it. Now comes the time to schedule your first laser hair removal session. How do you need to prepare then?
There are plenty of misconceptions about laser treatments. Thus, they always seem a bit scary. But they are not. Laser procedures are not as intimidating as they seem.
Laser hair removal is actually quite straightforward. As well as quick and painless. Of course, each laser session is different. It can take as little as ten minutes.
Or up to an hour and a half for a full body treatment. Coming in for upper lip or full legs laser hair removal? Either way, time will fly and you will be out in no time!
Now, how do you prepare for your session? Fear not! We’ve got you covered. Below are a few advice our laser technicians always give to patients.
They will help you get ready for your first laser hair removal session!
Stay away from the sun
Don’t we all love the sun? It brings instant happiness. And a good dose of vitamin D. A gorgeous tan as well. The thing is, sunlight and laser hair removal aren’t really good friends.
No, you will not have to keep to your flat during your treatment. Yes, you can still enjoy the outdoors. What matters is that you reduce direct exposure to sunlight.
Especially during the weeks prior and after your laser session. You should also avoid tanning beds, lotions and airbrush tan. Why?
Reason number 1. Artificial tanning puts the skin into an excited state. This can interfere with the treatment.
Reason number 2. Long exposure to direct sunlight without adequate protection can lead to sun damage. The skin is thus more vulnerable to the treatment.
Sun damage before or after a session can lead to pigmentation change amongst others. That is why we advice patients to start laser hair removal in the fall.
That way, they are done with their treatment before summer starts. They can freely show off their smooth legs all summer long. This does not mean you should not protect your skin.
Sun protection is important all year long. Make sure you apply a physical sunblock with a strong SPF. Especially if you treat your face, which is more often exposed to UV rays.
Shave before your appointment
Sometimes we see videos showing how laser hair removal works. And it shows areas with long body hair. Sure, it makes for a more effective before/after effect.
However, unshaven hair will reduce the procedure’s efficiency. Patients must shave before their session. Shaving removes a thin layer of skin. Thus, you may experience redness or irritation.
That is why you should shave the night before your appointment. Why do you actually need to shave?
Because the laser does not target the hair itself. Its goal is to damage the hair follicle. The hair is just a conduit for the light energy to reach its destination.
However, if the hair is long, some energy may get lost along the way. This will reduce the efficiency of the treatment.
Need another reason? The pulse would heat the whole hair. This can cause burns or scarring. Make sure the razor is clean and the blades sharp. Wash your skin with gentle soap.
Do not wax, pluck, tweeze or sugar
A laser hair removal treatment needs one main thing to work. Unwanted body hair connected to the hair follicle. The problem with waxing and similar hair removal methods is that they remove the root along with the hair.
Thus, there is no hair left to target. Shaving is different. You only cut the hair at the surface of the skin. That conduit to the follicle is still there.
If you wax or tweeze before your laser hair removal session, you interfere with the efficiency of the treatment. Especially because growing a new hair will take up to six weeks.
Waxing interferes with the hair growth cycle as well. Some hair grows faster than others. Thus, it may become harder to stick to an efficient session schedule.
Stay away from chemicals
Laser hair removal is a safe FDA approved hair removal option. However, it still bombards the skin with beams of light. After a laser session, the skin is quite sensitive.
It is also more vulnerable to exterior elements. As a result, it is safer to avoid using makeup, chemicals or fragrances on the treated areas.
Cosmetics with alcohol or chemicals may irritate or upset the skin. They would only increase your skin’s sensitivity.
Try to reduce usage of such cosmetics for a week before your laser hair removal session. Your skin should also be free of lotions and creams.
Plan ahead for your session
Laser hair removal sessions can be very quick. Small areas require up to ten minutes. A larger area will need up to forty-five minutes. Many patients actually do book a session over their lunch break.
Large areas or multi-area packages take longer. Thus, you may have to plan your session ahead. Only then can you find a slot that work for you.
Spa schedules can also be booked out pretty in advance. If you want to keep your treatment schedule on track, you will need to plan weeks in advance too.
At Infinity Laser Spa, appointments are booked on a first come, first served basis. Our schedule changes very fast. We can fit in smaller appointments easy.
However, longer treatments need to be scheduled more in advance. Evenings and weekends are booked months ahead.
Talk to your physician
Laser hair removal is a cosmetic procedure. It is a safe treatment. Yet, it has contraindications. Those includes some medications.
That is why you need to talk to your physician. Make sure your treatment will not interfere with the procedure. We know that antibiotics and Roaccutane are not compatible with laser hair removal.
Indeed, antibiotics increase photosensitivity. The treatment will be more painful. Hormonal treatments such as the contraceptive pill or hormone therapy may interfere with the treatment too.
This is because hair growth is triggered by hormones.
Some patients are more tolerant to pain than others. If you need them, take pain killers. Make sure they are compatible with your laser treatment. If yes, take them 45 minutes before your session.
Most patients describe the sensation felt during a laser session as akin to pinching. It can be unpleasant and uncomfortable. However, it is tolerable.
The laser technician will adjust the settings of the laser machine to make sure the treatment is comfortable for you.
