You must be aware what Camu Camu is from the previous review for another product I did from the Vitamin C range. Its packed with Vitamin C. Vitamin C is known for its anti ageing and skin brightening properties.

What other ingredients are a part of this product?

Glycerin: It helps in moisturizing the face.

Carbomer: Due to this, this product appears gel-like. Carbomer helps in making this product viscous.

Palmitamidopropyltrimonium Chloride: Alright, I am gonna be brutally honest, I don’t know how to pronounce this. (DESI PARENTS DISOWNING IN 3..2..1) It is simply used as a thickener. It’s used in most shampoos and conditioners. This chemical is derived from palm oil. Palm oil helps in skin lightening.

Ethyl Ascorbic Acid: Its rich in Vitamin C, helping in brightening the skin.

Hexyl Cinnamal: Derived from chamomile oil, so it gives fragrance.

PPG-26-Buteth-26: It helps in restoring dry and damaged skin (BONUS: and even hair!)

This is the only item in my The Body Shop haul I paid full price for it. This product wasn’t on any discount or any promotional offer. It costed me $23. But now they do keep it on discounts, so if you’re lucky, you might find it as low as $11.4!!!!!!!!!

Now when I pay a huge price for something, I make sure its suitable for my skin and there’s something MAJOR about it that made me take a decision to spend my hard earned money on this.

I saw the results of it in The Body Shop outlet here in Pakistan and I was stunned by it (BONUS: By the price too!) It was above 3K and I was already buying stuffs from USA so I was like, Aliza you gotta save some money. (I didn’t save money if you’re wondering because I bought some other stuffs. OOPS!)

OKAY, I NEED TO TAKE DEEP BREATHS BECAUSE HELLOOOO THIS PRODUCT IS INSANE IDK HOW IT WORKS ITS LIKE MAGIC.

This product is suitable for tired, dull and grumpy skin, I luckily don’t have such skin but the result of this made me wanna buy it.

The Body Shop Vitamin C Glow Revealing Liquid Peel is known for brightening the skin, making it appear healthier and smoother with a glow. Each bottle has 145 ml product.

This product actually is insane. I don’t know if I wrote it above or before, but I will say again. (Say or type? WTH) IT IS INSANE!

I usually use 2 pumps of this product which covers my face, hands and neck. I apply it on the targeted areas and massage it up and wait for the magic to happen.

While massaging, you’d notice some weird clumps forming up and you’d be able to spot them as well. WHAT ARE THESE? DEAD. SKIN. CELLS.

This is called a liquid peel for a reason, it peels off your dead skin cells!

Now of course, this product cannot remove all dead skin cells in one go, because while removing 30 dead skin cells (estimate) about 1000 (estimate) more would appear.

Some dead skin cells take forever (exaggeration) to fall off from our skin. This can affect our blood circulation and of course the overall appearance of skin. So in order to get rid of these stubborn dead skin cells, we exfoliate our skin by using scrubs and by using liquid peels.

The dead skin cells start clumping up on the face in less than a minute. WOAH!

HOW TO USE THE BODY SHOP VITAMIN C GLOW REVEALING LIQUID PEEL?

Dispense 1-2 pumps of the product onto fingertips, and apply to cleansed, dry skin avoiding the eye and mouth area. Massage into skin for up to 20 seconds until clumps become visible and peel away from the skin. Be sure to lean over the sink to catch the peel. Brush the peeling texture off the skin and rinse with water until completely clean. Use 2-3 times per week before the rest of your skincare regime.
