Tummy Tuck Summer Study
Hunstad Kortesis is enrolling abdominoplasty (also known as tummy tuck) patients in a study for both men and women. A financial incentive of $2,500 in savings will be offered to qualified candidates. You can enroll in this study for payments as little as $251 a month [with credit approval].
You may qualify for this study if:
- At least 18 years of age
- Less than or equal to BMI of 35
- A non-smoker
- Have excessive/loose skin from childbirth, overhanging skin from C-section, or from massive weight loss
- Not pregnant or nursing
- No prior tummy tuck procedures
- Do not have medical illnesses that would prevent you from having general anesthesia (such as history of stroke, coronary artery disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, diabetes, blood clotting disorder and/or immunosuppressant)
Tummy tuck surgery will be performed by their board certified plastic surgeons, Drs. Hunstad and Kortesis in their fully accredited surgical facility by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities along with a Board Certified Anesthesiologist. For participating in this study, your clinical data will be used for continuing education purposes such as white papers, medical presentations, and shared with other medical companies to increase the efficacy of tummy tuck surgery. This study is for tummy tuck only, does not include liposuction and will be a blind study where some candidates will receive surgical drains.

Breast Augmentation Study
Hunstad Kortesis is also enrolling breast augmentation candidates that have saline or 4th generation gel implants before 2009. If you are a candidate for this study you will receive an implant exchange for the newer 5th generation implants approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

You may qualify for this study if:
- At least 22 years of age
- Are a non-smoker
- Implants are older than 2009 (5 years or older)
- Rippling or wrinkling
- Too far apart or too close together
- Visible under the skin
- Too hard or firm to the touch
- Not pregnant or nursing
- Do not have any of the following:
- Breast cancer
- Active infections of the breast area
- Pre-existing infections
- Medical illnesses that would prevent you from having general anesthesia (such as history of stroke, coronary artery disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, diabetes, blood clotting disorder and/or immunosuppressant)
Advantages of 5th generation implants include:
