Tummy tuck alternative excess skin

A tummy tuck is designed to remove excess fat and skin from around your waistline. It is usually performed with the help of an incision that starts at the bottom of your breastbone and ends just above your pubic hairline. This approach helps tighten loose skin in this area, but there are other ways to achieve similar results.

Non-surgical options include radiofrequency ablation (RFA), which uses heat energy to tighten tissue; UltraShape (also known as laser lipolysis or laser spot reduction), which uses lasers to penetrate fat cells; CoolSculpting®, which freezes fat cells that are then naturally eliminated by the body over time; and Sculpsure®, which uses ultrasound energy to break down fat cells without damaging surrounding tissue or nerves.

Tummy tuck alternatives have become increasingly popular in recent years, as people are looking for the same results without undergoing surgery. The most common tummy tuck alternative is called a liposuction procedure. This procedure uses suction to remove fat from various parts of your body, including your abdomen. It can also be used to tighten loose skin on your abdomen and other areas of the body. Liposuction is performed under general anesthesia, so you will be asleep during the procedure. The recovery period lasts about 2 weeks and requires some downtime.

The cost of liposuction depends on your surgeon’s experience and skill level, as well as where you live. Liposuction costs between $5,000-$7,500 per area treated. These prices are estimates only; actual prices may vary depending on your unique circumstances and needs.

Non-Surgical Tummy Tuck Alternative

If you have excess skin on your abdomen, you may be thinking about getting a tummy tuck. But the idea of surgery, especially if you’re not sure what to expect, can be overwhelming—and expensive.

Fortunately, there’s a non-surgical alternative that can help you get rid of that extra skin and tighten up your stomach: the Venus Legacy treatment. It uses radio frequency energy to heat up the tissue underneath the skin, causing it to tighten and contract naturally. The results are similar to those of a surgical tummy tuck but without any cutting or incisions required.

Tummy Tuck Alternative: What is a Tummy Tuck?

A tummy tuck is a surgical procedure that removes excess skin and fat from the abdomen as well as tightens and repairs loose or sagging muscles. It can also be used to remove excess skin after significant weight loss. The procedure can take between 3-5 hours, depending on the amount of skin to be removed. The cost of a tummy tuck varies depending on the type of anesthesia used, whether there are complications during surgery, if any revisions are needed after surgery and if there is any scarring from previous surgeries.

A tummy tuck can be performed under general anesthesia by an experienced plastic surgeon. These days, many plastic surgeons are also offering non-surgical options for tightening the skin on your belly. These options include radiofrequency (RF) therapy, Abdominoplasty or Tummy Tuck Surgery, Liposuction and CoolSculpting.

The best alternative to a tummy tuck depends on what your goals are. If you want to remove excess fat from your abdomen and tighten the muscles in your lower abdomen, liposuction may be a good option. Liposuction is performed under local anesthesia by an experienced surgeon who makes small incisions in the skin and removes fat deposits with a vacuum device. Liposuction can also be combined with other procedures such as abdominoplasty or CoolSculpting to achieve optimal results.

If you’re looking for more than just liposuction but don’t want surgery, RF therapy may be right for you. RF therapy uses radio waves to heat tissue in order to tighten loose skin

This will help ensure that you are doing what is right for your body and that you are not putting yourself at risk.

A tummy tuck alternative is known as a non-surgical tummy tuck. This process involves tightening the skin on your abdomen, hips, and thighs. It can also help reduce stretch marks and cellulite on these areas as well. This type of procedure is done by using a laser or radiofrequency device that heats up the skin and causes it to tighten without having any incisions made in order to do so.

The best way to describe what happens during this process would be similar to how a rubber band would work when stretched tightly around an object such as a pencil eraser or small round stone that fits nicely into its circular shape while being held firmly onto one end while still having enough room left over on either side where we could fit another pencil eraser or small round stone onto it without any problems whatsoever.”

Tummy tuck alternatives are a cost-effective, non-surgical way to tighten your skin after pregnancy.

If you have excess skin on your tummy and hips that makes you feel uncomfortable and self-conscious, a tummy tuck can help reduce the appearance of those excess areas. However, tummy tucks are expensive and can be painful. If you’d rather avoid surgery, there are alternatives that can give you similar results without the high costs or risks associated with surgery.

One of the best alternatives to a tummy tuck is Venus Legacy body contouring treatment from [company name]. This treatment uses radiofrequency technology to tighten skin on your abdomen and hips, helping you look slimmer in just one session. The treatment only takes about 30 minutes, and there’s no downtime or recovery period—you can go back to work right away!

Tummy tuck skin tightening is a non-surgical procedure that can provide you with the same results as a tummy tuck, minus the recovery time. The procedure involves injection of Botox into your abdominal muscles to tighten them, giving you an hourglass figure.

A tummy tuck skin tightening treatment can be done in the comfort of your own home. You do not have to travel to a clinic and wait for hours on end before receiving your treatment. You will receive all of the necessary information about the treatment and what to expect from it prior to having it done at home.

The cost of tummy tuck skin tightening depends on where you live and which provider you choose. The best alternative to a tummy tuck is one where a person can get results without having surgery performed on them or putting themselves under anesthesia for hours at a time.

If you’ve been considering getting a tummy tuck, but are hesitant because of the cost or the time commitment, there is an alternative that can help you get the results you’re looking for: non-surgical tummy tuck skin tightening. This method uses radiofrequency technology to tighten and tone your skin without surgery, and it’s safe and effective.

Non-surgical tummy tucks work by heating up the collagen in your skin with radiofrequency energy. This causes new collagen to form over time, which helps tighten your skin and smooth out any wrinkles or folds that make you self-conscious about your appearance. The body naturally regenerates new tissue over time, so the effects of a non-surgical tummy tuck will last for years after treatment has finished—and it’s much less painful than surgery!

Tummy Tuck Skin Tightening: What You Need to Know

Tummy tuck skin tightening is a non-surgical alternative to the tummy tuck procedure. It can help you tighten loose skin, get rid of bulges and stretch marks, and reduce your waist size.

What Is Tummy Tuck Skin Tightening?

Tummy tuck skin tightening is a cosmetic procedure that uses radiofrequency energy to tighten your abdominal muscles and improve the appearance of your skin. The treatment targets your lower abdomen, or waistline, to reduce the appearance of loose skin and remove bulges.

What Are the Benefits of Tummy Tuck Skin Tightening?

Tummy tuck skin tightening can help you improve the look of your stomach by reducing excess fat, tightening loose skin, removing stretch marks and improving muscle tone. You may also experience less pain after this treatment than with other plastic surgery procedures because it requires minimal cutting or incisions in order to achieve these results.

Tummy tuck skin tightening is a non-surgical procedure that can tighten loose skin around the abdomen. It has been shown to be effective in cases where excessive weight loss has left you with excess skin. The process involves removing excess fat, tightening the abdominal muscles, and then repositioning the skin to give your tummy a more defined shape.

The procedure is performed under local anaesthetic so you will need someone to drive you home after it is finished. You should avoid driving until the following day as well as heavy lifting or strenuous exercise for at least 2 weeks after your surgery.

You will need to wear a compression garment for 6 weeks following your treatment, which will help reduce swelling and bruising as well as speeding up healing time for your skin tissue so that it can return to its normal size more quickly than usual (about 30%).

Tummy tuck skin tightening works best on patients with loose skin after losing a lot of weight over an extended period of time (over 5 years or more). It may not be suitable if you have lost less than 20 pounds or have recently gained weight due to pregnancy or illness; in these cases other treatments would be better suited such as liposuction or fat grafting procedures instead.

A tummy tuck, also known as a “abdominoplasty,” is a surgical procedure that removes excess skin and fat from the abdomen and tightens the underlying muscles. It can be used to treat sagging stomach muscles after pregnancy or weight loss, or even for aesthetic purposes.

However, not all patients are candidates for a tummy tuck. If you’re considering this procedure, it’s important to find out if you have any medical conditions that would make surgery unsafe for you. For example, if you have diabetes or high blood pressure, or if you smoke or are obese—you should not undergo a tummy tuck without first consulting your doctor.

A tummy tuck will not only remove excess fat and skin but also tighten the abdominal wall muscles. This helps improve body contour but also helps improve posture by tightening your core muscles and supporting your back so it doesn’t have to do as much work itself!

does non surgical tummy tuck work

The tummy tuck has long been the gold standard for removing fat and tightening the abdominal skin. But are there other options for fat removal and skin tightening that are less invasive?

There are! At NuBody Concepts we perform minimally-invasive skin tightening with two different technologies: Renuvion (Nashville location) and BodyTite (Memphis location). In the right candidates, both are excellent skin tightening alternatives to tummy tuck surgery. Read on to learn more about a surgical tummy tuck vs a non-surgical tummy tuck, and to find out which one is best suited for you.

Why a Tummy Tuck is Not Always Desirable

If you have excess fat and/or flabby skin around your midsection and are looking for options to have it reduced or removed, a tummy tuck will likely be at the top of the list.

But there is a simple reason you might skip the tummy tuck: It requires surgery, and it leaves a scar.

Don’t get us wrong. As plastic surgeons, we like, and regularly perform, tummy tuck surgery in Nashville and Memphis. Tummy tucks are highly-effective and very popular. It’s an outpatient procedure, it can be done under IV sedation without general anesthesia, and our plastic surgeon can skillfully hide the scar under your bikini line. Even recovery times have improved so that you may return to your daily actives as early as a week post-surgery.

However, there are some people – and perhaps you’re one of them – who simply do not want to undergo surgery. They don’t want the downtime associated with its relatively long recovery. They don’t want the increased risk that comes with surgery, even if it’s small. And some don’t want to end up with a visible scar, no matter how well it’s hidden.

Tummy Tuck Downsides

If this is how you feel about a tummy tuck, don’t be discouraged. Many of our patients feel like you. We have listened to your concerns, and this is why we’re so excited to talk to you about skin tightening.

Tummy tuck-like Results With Radio Frequency Assisted Lipolysis (RFAL)

If you’re not interested in surgery, skin tightening with BodyTite or Renuvion is a great alternative to achieve tummy tuck-like results. Radio Frequency Assisted Lipolysis (RFAL, among others the brands BodyTite and Renuvion) is a powerful and proven method to tighten and lift loose skin. The radio frequency energy generates bursts of highly targeted heat that contracts or “coagulates” the tissues under the skin. This makes the treated area look firmer and more toned.

RFAL is almost always combined with liposuction to first remove fat before tightening the skin. It is so good at tightening tissues that it can also be used to reduce the appearance of cellulite, which is often mistaken for the simple age-related loss of skin elasticity.

Is Skin Tightening as Good as a Tummy Tuck?

If a doctor tells you they can provide minimally-invasive skin tightening that’s as good as a surgical tummy tuck, you are right to be skeptical. If you actually need a tummy tuck, it’s simply not possible to eliminate all the loose skin without excisional surgery.

However, not all patients need a tummy tuck. We frequently see patients requesting fat removal or a tummy tuck, and in a personal consultation our plastic surgeon can make a recommendation for the best procedure. You may not have a ton of loose skin, just enough that you want it flattened out. Or you may not want a tummy tuck for the reasons stated earlier. While such patients should have realistic expectations about the results, there is still a lot of improvement to be had with the application of radio frequency energy.

How much improvement? Clinical studies have found that BodyTite can contract treated skin by 35% – 45%. That’s remarkable considering it does not require surgical incisions or result in a scar! Renuvion, another RFAL technology, has been shown to achieve up to 60% skin contraction, aided by its use of Helium plasma to achieve shorter, higher bursts of targeted heat.

Best Areas for Skin Tightening With Renuvion

Until now we’ve only talked about skin tightening as a tummy tuck alternative. But it has a much wider application range than just the abdomen. Here are the areas most commonly treated with RFAL:

Abdomen

As we’ve shown above, Renuvion is a great alternative to the tummy tuck – especially for women who want to reverse the effects of childbirth or aging without the downtime or scar.

Thighs & Arms

However, that’s not all. Do you have frustrating flab on your upper arms, or extra folds on your thighs? A cosmetic surgeon might normally advise for an arm or thigh lift. Choosing skin tightening as an alternative to surgery can get you very good results, with much less downtime and virtually no scars.

Face

Both BodyTite and Renuvion can be used on the face for a so-called non-surgical facelift (also often referred to as FaceTite). This procedure contracts skin the same way through the application of radio frequency (RF) technology but uses a special wand calibrated for the face and neck.

Cellulite

Lastly, another great use: age-related skin laxity that often gets mistaken for Cellulite. While genuine Cellulite is more difficult to treat, our skin can assume the appearance of cellulite as it ages and becomes more lax. This condition makes for an excellent use of skin tightening.

Where Can I Get Expert Skin Tightening?

Our teams of board-certified plastic surgeons and nurses at NuBody Concepts take pride in delivering excellent patient care to patients in the Nashville and Memphis, TN areas.

Dr. John Rosdeutscher of NuBody Concepts Nashville has been treating patients with Renuvion for several years and has achieved excellent results. Renuvion is a an RFAL procedure that adds the injection of helium plasma to boost its targeted heat output. Combined with power-assisted liposuction, it does not add much extra time to a patient’s procedure, but the added skin contraction substantially improves the patient results.

When BodyTite was FDA-approved in 2017, plastic surgeon Dr. Mark Peters (NuBody Concepts Memphis) was one of the first surgeons to incorporate it into his services. Since then, he has treated several hundred patients with BodyTite and has become an expert at achieving great outcomes. He won first place in the 2020 InMode Expert Clinician Award Program for his innovative use of BodyTite to treat cellulite.

Alternatives to Minimally-Invasive Skin Tightening

Both BodyTite and Renuvion are one-time, minimally-invasive procedures vs fully-sedated surgery. They are typically performed under local anesthesia, allowing for a fast recovery.

Some patients prefer an even less-invasive, entirely external skin tightening option. The answer: Exilis and Morpheus.

Exilis tightens the skin, but it does so solely through the application of RF energy onto the skin surface. It can be used anywhere from the eyelids to the knees and is easily combined with our other skincare services, like microdermabrasion or scar revision. Exilis treatments are typically repeated in several sessions for best results.

Morpheus is a microneedling technique that can be applied to various areas of the body and face. Like Exilis, it is non-invasive and typically needs a series of 3 treatments.
