Hairmax Laserband 41 vs 82 – Which one should you choose?

The HairMax LaserBand 82 is a laser comb made to stimulate and promote the growth of your hair follicles. Men and women of all ages, but especially those with thinning hair or bald areas, have proved the device to be beneficial in growing hair.

Like many other laser combs, the HairMax LaserBand 82 stimulates the scalp with powerful infrared photons to promote faster hair growth. It functions by delivering energy to the skin’s dermal layer, which increases cell activity and promotes growth.

For usage by men and women who have thinning hair or are experiencing baldness, the HairMax LaserBand 82 was created exclusively for them. You may take it anywhere you need it because it is lightweight and portable, especially on vacations for pleasure or work.

Together with a protective cover that snaps over the user interface panel when not in use, the gadget also includes a protective cap. Also, the device comes with a charger and an AC adaptor so, if wanted, you may connect it directly into an outlet.

Hairmax Laserband 82

A laser comb called the Hairmax Laserband 82 makes the promise that it can encourage hair growth and lengthen your hair. It makes use of unique technology to boost blood flow, which can promote the development of new hair cells. The comb has undergone extensive clinical testing and has been used by thousands of people, many of whom report excellent outcomes.

Hairmax Lasercomb 41

The Hairmax Laser Comb 41 employs the same technology as its more expensive alternative, but at a significantly lower cost. Also, it is FDA-approved and has a lifetime warranty. Clinical trials have been conducted, and the majority of users report positive results.

The newest member of the HairMax family is the LaserBand 82. It is a laser comb that encourages hair growth in both sexes using infrared light. In as little as four months, this device guarantees to increase the amount of hairs on your head and give you a fuller, thicker mane.

An older version of the HairMax laser comb is the HairMax LaserBand 41. Both men and women can have their hair growth stimulated by laser light. Similar to its predecessor, this device claims to give you a fuller, thicker mane in as little as four months by increasing the amount of hairs on your head.

Both devices work by stimulating blood flow and oxygenation at the root of each strand of hair. This helps new growth grow faster and thicker than it normally would, resulting in fuller locks over time.

HairMax LaserBand 82

The most innovative and recent laser hair gadget to hit the market is the HairMax LaserBand 82. The FDA has approved this laser comb, which is covered by a three-year warranty. Its effectiveness comes from a patented technology that provides 15 times more power than other products on the market. You may use the device for up to 45 minutes before needing to recharge it because it is cordless and rechargeable.

After 4 months of use, it has been clinically demonstrated that the HairMax LaserBand 82 can reduce hair loss by as much as 60%. It is convenient and simple to use because you may do it while sitting at your workstation or watching TV.

There are no negative effects or painful side effects from using this product, unlike some other goods on the market right now because it was built with comfort in mind.

The HairMax LaserBand is a hair-growth laser product that uses light to stimulate the follicles in your scalp. It comes in three different models, each of which has its own strengths and weaknesses. The 82 model is the least expensive and most basic model, but it still has some useful features. It is best for people who want to try out the HairMax system for the first time. The 41 model offers more options for customization than the 82 model does. The 41 also has a stronger laser that can penetrate deeper into your scalp, making it more effective at stimulating hair growth. Finally, there’s the newest model—the 82+. This model uses very short pulses of light instead of longer pulses like on previous models. This makes it much more comfortable to use because there’s less heat buildup within each pulse of light.

What is HairMax LaserBand?

The HairMax LaserBand is a laser device that penetrates the hair follicle with laser light to promote the development of new hair. It is painless, secure, and simple to use. Low-level laser light (LLLT), which is emitted by the HairMax LaserBand, penetrates the scalp and promotes hair growth. It has been demonstrated that the technology works well to promote hair growth.

How does it work?

HairMax works by emitting low-level laser light (LLLT). The LLLT is absorbed by melanin in your skin and then converted into heat energy that stimulates blood flow and improves cellular metabolism. This process helps stimulate cell division, which leads to healthier skin cells. The resulting higher metabolism activates new collagen production and stronger hair growth.

HairMax FDA warning

Los Angeles – U.S. Regulators have warned Lexington International, the makers of the highly touted and controversial HairMax LaserComb, to shape up or ship out.

In an FDA warning letter issued to David Michaels, Managing Director of Lexington International, LLC on May 22, 2008, FDA inspectors cite that the HairMax LaserComb® Premium and SE models, that are currently being sold to the public, differ from the cleared HairMax LaserComb in dose rate, method of delivery, and/or treatment parameters. According to the FDA these changes could significantly affect the safety or effectiveness of these devices and therefore, pursuant to 21, CFR 807.81 (a)(3)(i), new 510(k) submissions are required in order to legally market these devices.

Interestingly enough HairMax LaserComb makers warn consumers about purchasing fraudulent, or less than effective laser devices on their own marketing website.

Here’s what it states on the HairMax website:

As a consumer, we suggest that you educate yourself thoroughly before making a purchase or utilizing a laser device.  Make no mistake: Using lasers for any reason is a very serious medical undertaking which, if not administered under proper safety guidelines, can be risky. At best, you may be buying a laser device and spending time using it, only to receive minimal if any results.

Again, at Lexington we care about your safety and your right to be educated as a consumer.
And remember: CAVEAT EMPTOR; BUYER BEWARE.

Included on their website is an FDA warning Letter issued to a competitor just two months before U.S. Regulators issued a warning to Lexington International, LLC.

The American Hair Loss Association does not currently recommend the HairMax LaserComb for the prevention and treatment of hair loss.

Caveat Emptor Indeed.
