Healing Effects of WheatgrassClinical and research evidence has revealed the ‘Grass Juice Factor’ to have, probably by the stimulation of human growth factors, a powerful effect on the regeneration of damaged skin and the body in general. The healing effects of wheatgrass are frequently attributed to chlorophyll, but I believe this hypothesis has little or no substance. The wheatgrass extract I use contains a barely detectable amount of chlorophyll, yet has a similar therapeutic profile as observed and recorded in numerous laboratory and clinical studies performed since the 1930’s. There are clearly (many) other biologically active factors at work. What is Wheatgrass Extract?The only active ingredient in all Dr Wheatgrass products is “Wheatgrass Extract”. According to a study performed by a group of Indian scientists (Kulkarni et. al.) in 2006, the scientists found antioxidant levels of wheatgrass extract were:

| How-To Use for Fissure | |
| Apply a little wheatgrass extract (it does not need to be inserted) with a cotton bud/Q-tip once every two days – and persevere. It appears that bioactives in wheatgrass penetrate the skin rapidly so that pain is often relieved within hours. You may also take Supershots orally. | |

| If you suffer constipation, usually the fissure occurs first and the constipation follows. In other words, constipation is caused by anal fissure – not, as is often claimed, the other way round. So, the aim should be to fix the fissure, not the constipation. Wheatgrass can do this. | |
