Sono Bello or Tummy Tuck

So you want to know if Sono Bello or Tummy Tuck is better for you? In this article, we will discuss about Sono bello or tummy tuck, is sono bello covered by insurance, what is the downside of Sono Bello, and What is the best surgery for belly fat?

While there are many factors to consider before making a choice, here are some of the most important things to keep in mind:

-Sono Bello gets rid of extra skin and fat, while a tummy tuck gets rid of extra skin and fat along with organs.

There is less damage done with Sono Bello than with a tummy tuck, so you will have less recovery time after the operation. Sono Bello can make you feel better about your body and make you look “wow,” but it won’t help with diastasis recti, which is when your stomach muscles separate from your back.

It will get rid of belly fat and make skin that is too loose look better after you lose weight. Sono Bello doesn’t hurt you, which is the main difference between these two ways. In other words, surgery is not needed. UHF waves, on the other hand, kill fat cells that are under the skin. That’s right, your body will get rid of these cells on its own over time, just like surgery does. Most of the time, you don’t have to stay in the hospital overnight, and it’s easier than getting a belly button. It costs less because you don’t have to pay for surgery or a hospital stay.

Without surgery, this method doesn’t get rid of belly fat as well as a tummy tuck.

A tummy tuck is one of the most popular cosmetic procedures. It is a surgical procedure that can help you get rid of unwanted fat and skin in your stomach area. It is also known as body contouring which reduces excess skin to improve the appearance of the abdomen.

Sono Bello is a new treatment that uses radio frequency energy to destroy fat cells under the skin and then stimulate collagen production to tighten loose skin, resulting in smoother, more contoured skin. This combination treatment has been shown to reduce excess fat while also tightening and firming the skin.

Bellies can be bloated, stretched and saggy. Belly fat can also be hard to get rid of, even with diet and exercise. That’s why many women choose to have a tummy tuck procedure, which will remove excess skin and fat from their abdomen.

One good thing about both types of surgery is that they both work well to change the shape of your body. There are, however, pros and cons to each process that rely on your specific wants and preferences.

Sono Bello or Tummy Tuck?

A Sono Bello or tummy tuck is a procedure that involves the surgical sculpting of the abdomen and waistline. This procedure can be performed on men, women, and children who have excess fat in the abdominal area, love handles, and/or loose skin following pregnancy or weight loss. The goal of the procedure is to reduce fat in the abdominal area to enhance contouring and improve body shape.

The Sono Bello procedure uses radiofrequency energy to heat up fat cells deep beneath the skin’s surface. This causes the body to respond by breaking down these cells and eliminating them from your system over time. As you heal, your body will naturally smooth out any remaining excess fat tissue, while tightening skin as it heals.

The tummy tuck procedure is similar to liposuction, but instead of removing fat cells from inside the body (endoscopic), it removes them through an incision made in your lower abdomen near your belly button (open). The surgeon then uses stitches to close off this incision after removing excess skin from above it so that your muscles are completely exposed during surgery. In addition

The best way to get a flat stomach is to lose weight. But if you’ve tried diet and exercise, and you still can’t lose enough weight to get the flat stomach you want, a tummy tuck may be right for you.

A tummy tuck removes excess skin and fat from your abdomen and restores the contour of your lower belly. It also tightens the muscles in the abdomen. A tummy tuck isn’t just for pregnant women; it can be done on men, too!

Tummy tucks are typically performed through an incision in the lower abdomen or bikini area. This surgical procedure involves removing excess skin and fat from your lower abdomen. It also tightens the muscles in your abdomen, giving them more definition and making them firmer than before.

What is Sono Bello?

Sono Bello uses radiofrequency energy to remove unwanted fat cells from the abdomen, hips, thighs or buttock areas. Radiofrequency technology heats up fat cells so they can be removed through suctioning. Because this procedure doesn’t require any incisions, patients typically experience less pain and shorter recovery times than those who undergo traditional liposuction procedures.

I’ve been wanting to get a tummy tuck for years. I wanted to get it done before I started dating again, but I was worried about how expensive it would be and how much time off I’d have to take from work. I’ve heard that Sono Bello’s cosmetic surgery procedure is less invasive than a traditional tummy tuck and can be done in just one day. It also costs less than a traditional tummy tuck and requires no downtime!

The belly tuck procedure is a surgical procedure that helps to remove excess skin, fat and tissue from the abdomen. This procedure can improve your body contour, eliminate stretch marks and give you a more toned appearance.

The tummy tuck procedure is a popular cosmetic surgery that is performed on both men and women. It’s done to improve the appearance of loose, sagging skin on your abdomen after pregnancy or weight loss.

Some people choose tummy tuck for purely cosmetic reasons, but others have other medical problems associated with their abdominal skin. The most common reason for an abdominoplasty is stretch marks from pregnancy or weight fluctuations. But there are other reasons too: surgery scars from previous surgeries; excessive weight gain; or just plain old aging! However, there are also some risks involved with abdominoplasty surgery as well as benefits so it’s important to discuss these with your doctor before making any decisions about having this procedure done either alone or alongside another type of plastic surgery such as breast augmentation (implants) or breast lift (mastopexy).

While both treatments are able to remove unwanted bulges and streamline the silhouette, several differences exist between them.

Continue reading for a comparison of Sono Bello in Northern Virginia vs. CoolSculpting in terms of cost, results, side effects, and recovery time.

Sono Bello vs. CoolSculpting – Cost

When it comes to Sono Bello vs. CoolSculpting, cost is one factor to consider. The final price of both treatments can vary depending on provider expertise, geographic location, and the size, location, and number treatment areas.

With that in mind, the average cost of a CoolSculpting is $2000 – $4000, while the average cost of Sono Bello micro-laser liposuction is $2500 – $4500.

Sono Bello vs. CoolSculpting – Results

Sono Bello is a surgical procedure that involves anesthesia, small incisions, and manual extraction of excess adipose tissue. It can be used to reduce small and larger volumes of fat.

CoolSculpting is a non-invasive body contouring treatment that delivers controlled cooling to freeze and destroy stubborn fat bulges. This fat removal procedure avoids incisions, anesthesia, surgery, and scarring and is ideal for women and men with pinchable fat rolls.

Sono Bello vs. CoolSculpting – Side Effects

When comparing Sono Bello vs. CoolSculpting, there is a distinct difference in terms of side effects.

CoolSculpting side effects are temporary and mild and may include redness, swelling, and numbness.

Sono Bello side effects can be more pronounced and longer-lasting and include swelling (that can last several months), bruising, scarring at incision sites, tenderness, contour irregularities, and adverse reaction to tumescent or local anesthesia.

Sono Bello vs. CoolSculpting – Recovery Time

One of the key advantages of CoolSculpting is that it doesn’t require any recovery or downtime. In fact, immediately after treatment, patients are free to go about their day as they normally would without any restrictions.

Following Sono Bello liposuction, patients can expect to take several days off from work and may experience soreness and tenderness for up to a week.

They will also be required to wear a compression garment for two-to-four weeks and must limit exercise for up to two weeks.

what is the downside of Sono Bello

There are several cosmetic procedures available in the market for body fat reduction. Among the more popular options pitted against each other are Sono Bello vs CoolSculpting. Sono Bello is a form of laser liposuction, while CoolSculpting is a type of cryolipolysis – a procedure that destroys stubborn fat cells by freezing.

So is Sono Bello or CoolSculpting better for fat loss? Many patients prefer CoolSculpting over Sono Bello as it is an easy, noninvasive, and painless way of removing excess visible fat. In this article, we discuss each treatment, its pros and cons, and recommend which is the optimal procedure for reducing unwanted fat around the body.

Understanding Sono Bello: Laser Liposuction

Sono Bello is a micro laser liposuction procedure where a plastic surgeon manually removes fat through incisions in your target area, then uses a laser to melt the adipose tissue (fat) under the skin.

It is also called laser lipolysis, and bears the same risks as traditional liposuction but on a smaller scale. By utilizing a micro laser, both small and large volumes of adipose tissue can be easily extracted, while the skin in the area may even be tightened by the laser.

This procedure should be avoided if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, and if you have:

Understanding CoolSculpting: Cryolipolysis

CoolSculpting is a non-surgical cosmetic treatment for fat reduction. It is based on the science of cryolipolysis, which uses cold temperatures to target and freeze fat cells. After destroying the excess adipose tissues with cold temperature ranging from -11 to +5 degrees Celsius, excess fat is  metabolized by the lymphatic system and flushed out of the body as waste after several weeks.

This procedure is not considered a weight loss treatment because it doesn’t alter your body composition. The best candidates for CoolSculpting are patients who have pinchable fat rolls and want to trim visible excess fat. Doctors would also recommend against this procedure if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Patients with the following health conditions are also ineligible for CoolSculpting:

Sono Bello vs CoolSculpting

The major difference in deciding between Sono Bello vs CoolSculpting is that Sono Bello is a surgical procedure, while CoolSculpting is noninvasive. Other differences include:

Sono Bello

Sono Bello patients will remain awake during treatment and will receive local anesthesia in the treatment area. They will also receive medication to relax and sedate them while the plastic surgeon makes incisions on their body.

The plastic surgeon will liposuction away most of the unwanted fat, then utilize the micro laser for contouring and finishing on the remaining adipose tissues. The process takes around an hour to finish per area. As this is still a surgical liposuction procedure, a Sono Bello patient may expect a recovery period of 2 – 4 weeks.

As for CoolSculpting, a gel pad will be placed on the surface of the patient’s skin to protect it from the cold. A cosmetic surgeon will apply the cold temperature through an applicator, which also suctions the fat cells upwards to the surface of the skin. It will take a cosmetic surgeon around 35-60 minutes to finish a cooling session.

Since CoolSculpting is noninvasive, no incisions are made on the skin. Neither local nor general anesthesia is injected as well. This means that patients can resume daily activities immediately after the procedure, and no recovery time is needed.

Sono Bello vs CoolSculpting: Which Is The Better Treatment?

Aside from understanding the differences between both procedures, it is also worth comparing other factors such as the procedure’s effectiveness, price, and convenience, since these may help you determine which treatment is right for you.

  • Effectivity: CoolSculpting vs Sono Bello
  • Price: CoolSculpting vs Sono Bello
  • Convenience: CoolSculpting vs Sono Bello

Overall, if you have a larger volume of body fat, Sono Bello may be a good choice as it can remove more adipose tissues. But keep in mind that as a liposuction variant, Sono Bello has the same risks associated with traditional liposuction.

On the other hand, if you are looking for a noninvasive and easy way to trim the bulges of stubborn fat that won’t disappear with diet and exercise, then CoolSculpting would be the better option for you. This procedure has lower risks and has a fat removal rating of up to 80%.

What is the best surgery for belly fat

All of us want to look and feel our best. But even if you eat a healthy diet and exercise regularly, you might still have problem areas in which no amount of exercise can burn the fat or tighten loose skin.

Men and women in their 20s through 60s come to us with concerns about double-chins, love handles, or excess abdominal skin. They eat right and work out regularly, but it’s not enough to give them the look they want to feel confident among friends and colleagues.

Today, patients have options to reduce and smooth these problem areas. Over the last decade, seeking plastic surgery or nonsurgical solutions has become less taboo for men and women. In fact, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery cites a 21.5% increase in plastic surgery procedures from 2014 to 2018.

Depending on your goal, three body-contouring procedures – liposuction, tummy tuck, and cool sculpting – can help you achieve the look you want. All three can deliver fast, long-lasting results if you’re willing to maintain a healthy diet and stay active.

1. Liposuction to target stubborn fat

Liposuction is a shape-changing procedure that removes fat from a specific area of the body. Patients can expect up to 50% to 70% fat removal in a treated area in some cases.

We can treat the following areas of the body with liposuction:

How is liposuction performed?

We use the SAFE technique at UT Southwestern: separation, aspiration, and fat equalization. The surgeon will separate the fat cells from the skin tissue, then aspirate them with fluid. The infiltration phase increases the space in the area for better surgical access and adds a medication called epinephrine, which shrinks the blood vessels and reduces bleeding.

After fat removal, the surgeon will equally distribute the remaining fat cells in the area for a smooth, natural look. The SAFE technique does not use lasers or heat-based tools, which can damage or scar the surrounding tissue. We have used SAFE for the last decade – patients’ results are smoother and more predictable than any other methods I’ve used in my practice.

Recovery time depends on the type of liposuction you have and whether it’s combined with another procedure. When performed by itself, it is typically an outpatient procedure. For small treatment areas like the neck, abdomen, and/or flanks, most patients can return to work within a few days and resume their normal activities within two weeks.

For larger treatment areas encompassing most of the trunk and extremities, patients may require more time off from work and a longer period of time to resume normal activities.

Can liposuction help with cellulite?

Many patients ask this question, and most don’t like the answer: Liposuction is not a recommended treatment for cellulite. In fact, there is no treatment that has been proven to eliminate cellulite.

Fat and cellulite are not the same thing. The dense fibers that run between the skin and deeper tissues are where excess fat accumulates, giving the skin the dimpled appearance of cellulite.

Cellulite is extremely common, affecting 80% to 90% of women. It can appear in men, though much less frequently. The buttocks and thighs are the most commonly affected areas. While there’s no one specific cause of cellulite, estrogen levels during a woman’s period can make it more noticeable, as can swelling in the affected area.

We have evaluated various products and procedures, like Cellulaze and Cellfina, which are expensive and don’t deliver what we’d consider successful results. Though some studies suggest treatment can improve cellulite, none have been shown to fully eliminate it. Our patients are not interested in paying several thousand dollars for something temporary; we want patients to be satisfied with their results, so we don’t recommend these therapies.

Consider liposuction if you:

2. Tummy tuck to tighten loose abdominal skin

Tummy tucks (abdominoplasty) target loose skin and diastasis, a condition that happens when the abdominal muscles don’t properly reshape after naturally separating during pregnancy. Diastasis can lead to a rounded appearance of the abdomen and in some cases, weak abdominal muscles.

We approach tummy tucks differently for male and female patients. Men tend to have less loose skin and more fat to remove, whereas women have more loose skin and diastasis with some fat to remove. Some patients have a combined tummy tuck-liposuction-diastasis as part of a “mommy makeover” procedure.

How is a tummy tuck performed?

Tummy tucks require an incision, the size of which will depend upon the amount of loose skin and the quality of the skin and muscle tissue. Some patients require a hip-to-hip incision, which we often can make below the bikini line.

Essentially, we pull the skin taut across the patient’s abdomen, remove excess skin and fat, repair the diastasis if necessary, and then close the incision. The result is a flatter abdomen and tighter-looking skin.

Recovery time varies depending on the size of the incision and the combination of procedures a patient chooses. Most tummy tucks require an overnight stay with return to activity and work after two weeks.

One thing to note: A tummy tuck with liposuction does not address metabolically active fat, which is found inside the abdomen, around the intestines and can cause a rounded belly appearance. More common in men, this type of fat cannot be eliminated with surgery – only through weight loss.

3. CoolSculpting to diminish unwanted fat

CoolSculpting is an office-based treatment that targets only fat. Over two to three months, patients can expect a 15% to 20% reduction of fat in the treated area. There is no recovery time involved in CoolSculpting, but it does require a minimum of two treatments over a month. Each treatment can take one to three hours. Most patients see results within three months.

A patient can receive CoolSculpting on the abdomen, back, side (“love handles”), underarms, thighs, and below the jawline (“double chin”).

How is cool sculpting performed?

The plastic surgeon will target fat cells and crystallize (freeze) them using CoolSculpting technology. Over time, the fat cells die and the body naturally eliminates them. Results can be permanent if patients maintain a healthy lifestyle including exercise and eating habits.

Who is and isn’t a good candidate for shape-changing procedures?

To safely undergo a body-contouring procedure, patients must be in generally good health. Patients with certain health concerns might not be eligible. Some of these issues include:

Patient safety is our No. 1 concern, so please ask questions and be honest with your surgeon about your health. The potential benefits of an elective procedure are not worth risking your safety.

UT Southwestern surgeons collaborate to offer conservative recommendations paired with contemporary procedures, cutting-edge technology, and the latest research. We perform all procedures in a fully regulated, hospital-based center with an anesthesiologist and specialized staff so each patient has a safe and personalized experience.

In December 2019, our Frisco practice will be moving into a conveniently located, state-of-the-art medical office building located at 12500 Dallas Parkway, just north of El Dorado Drive. UT Southwestern Frisco is part of a 20-acre medical campus that will offer patients streamlined access to other specialists, as well as pharmacy and laboratory services. Learn more.

Body Contouring Is Personal

Each patient’s goals are as unique as their bodies. We consider every body-contouring procedure to be a 50/50 partnership between you and your surgeon.

One thing we stress to patients is that surgery alone will not get you where you want to be. We can remove or shrink fat cells during your procedure, but that doesn’t mean they’re going to be gone forever. Fat cells can return if you gain a significant amount of weight, so it’s important to maintain a healthy lifestyle after your procedure.
