- Inject in multiple small doses to avoid bruising, at least 1/4″ apart from one another and always with anesthetic cream first!
- Wait at least 4 weeks before repeating this treatment
Injections to lateral tails of the eyebrows
The next step is to inject a small amount of Botox into the lateral tails of your eyebrows. The lateral tails are the area between the inner and outer edges of your eyebrows, so this injection has to be made from a side view (just like for forehead wrinkles).
The injections can be made in either a straight line or curved pattern, depending on what you prefer and what looks best on you.

The corrugator supercilia and procerus muscles, located in between the eyebrows, are depressor muscles and apply a downward pulling force on the eyebrows. The frontalis muscle, located within the forehead, applies an upward pulling force on the eyebrows.
Therefore, by injecting Botox into the corrugator supercilia and orbicularis oculi, you can relax the muscles pulling the eyebrows down which will in turn emphasise the strength of the frontalis muscle.
